Lord, let it rain.

It Won't Stop Raining
It's been a downpour for more than 24 hours. Two more have died (total 4) in our state since this report was issued:
Creeks have crested their banks, fields and yards look like lakes, storm drains are full and spouting like fountains, roads are flooded.

Heavy rain began falling Monday and just kept coming. Forecasters were calling for up to 5 inches of additional rain in parts of the state, some of which had already seen 7 inches by midday.

Near Springfield, a Missouri Department of Transportation worker was killed Tuesday morning as he helped out in a flooded area. SEMA said the worker, identified as 21-year-old Joshua Slatten of Springfield, was setting up barriers along U.S. 65 when his dump truck was struck by a semi.

Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday, the beginning of the week of our Lord's Passion. It leads to mankind's low point, the crucifixion of Jesus, on Friday, followed by history's high point, His resurrection next Sunday. Praise God for His great love that we reflect upon at this time of year ... and hopefully throughout the year.
What a wonderful Savior.
