Peggy and I walked at the Springfield Nature Center on Friday. This great blue heron stalks the same hunting grounds regularly. The last time I was there I shot him after a watery commotion with a large fish in his mouth. This time he was drying his wings. It's quite a distance, even for my zoom, so the shots are not that clear.
