Sunday afternoon as Peggy and I were returning from a trip, while I was driving, my right eye suddenly went blurry, like looking through a muddy windshield. I also began seeing light flashes. Monday morning, shortly after I got to work, I got in to see my GP who rushed me to an ophthalmologist.
He diagnosed me with a retinal tear requiring immediate surgery. I had the laser surgery to repair the tear and keep it from becoming a detached retina. My vision in that eye has not yet returned to normal, which makes life difficult for a writer and editor. I also have considerable travel scheduled.
I would appreciate your prayers that my vision return to normal quickly. Thanks, all.
