Another Immigration Insult
The widow of a Houston police officer killed by an illegal immigrant was "shocked" to learn that the city's former police chief has landed a top immigration job with the Obama administration, her lawyer told FoxNews.com on Friday.
That's because Joslyn Johnson, whose husband, Rodney Johnson, was killed in 2006, is suing former Houston Police Chief Harold Hurtt for failing to enforce federal immigration laws. She claims her husband would be alive today if the city had bothered to check up on the gunman's immigration status.
Now that Hurtt is taking a job to oversee partnerships between federal and local officials with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Johnson -- and other critics -- say they're concerned the official who resisted immigration enforcement in Houston will now be in charge of promoting it. — FoxNews.com
More unbelievable callousness, irony and blatant incompetence from the Obama administration ... or should we say, "regime."
This administration does not respect the rule of law, plain and simple.

Ken & Kary on Crooked Creek
Last Tuesday I went on a fly-fishing outing on Crooked Creek in Arkansas with my friend Kary Kingsland. Kary was a great guide. We landed a bunch of fish—mostly smallmouth bass, with a potpourri of other species thrown in. Largemouth, bluegill, green sunfish, longear sunfish, goggle-eye (or rock bass) were in the mix.
We were on the water for 7 hours in 90+ degree heat, but the forecast had called for rain so we were very happy. We used Kary's hand-made flies exclusively. He knows how to tie flies and he knows how to fish them. I think he needs to market the custom fly that I caught all 40 of my fish on that day. Kary's catch was about the same, so we caught a whole bunch of fish ... and released them all.
Kary getting the day started.
Kary in action. What a technique.
Two of our smallies. A 14 incher (top) and a 15 incher.
Crooked Creek, we shall return.
