The final performances of Todd Oliver and Showstoppers on the Showboat Branson Belle will be on December 26-31, 2010, ending more than a decade of uproarious laughter, standing ovations and encores.
Oliver will move his amazing act to the Jim Stafford Theatre in 2011.
Peggy and I have sailed several times on the beautiful Belle, but we missed the recent grounding due to high winds that kept some 600 passengers and crew aboard from Saturday night, Dec. 12, into the next Sunday morning. The stranded passengers were offloaded at Poverty Point.
The final performances of 2010 will be aboard a stationary Showboat.
